Fabrizio Iuli had always wanted to see how the nebbiolo grape - better known for its wines in the Langhe region - can perform in the Monferrato. Now he knows - and the results are very satisfying.
The name Malidea is taken from the name of the hill close to Fabrizio`s cellar and vineyards. This wine is 100 % nebbiolo. Yes, the nebbiolo you know from Barolo. But since it comes from Monferrato it cannot carry the famous “B” name. Nonetheless, this nebbiolo is as delicious as you might desire but at half the price.
