Red Italian Style
Gnista Red is best described as a mixture of juices, a fermented brew and spice extracts. It doesn’t taste like a red wine, but similar to red wines, the Red gives tannins, complexity and a slight acidity. It is crafted by hand and in small batches in Skåne, Sweden, and it can be enjoyed with or without food.
This Red Italian Style has no other wish than to offer tannins, cherries, liquorice and a woody spiciness. Doesn’t taste like a wine, but will replace a medium-bodied red one. We drink Italian with pizza, carpaccio, and tomato based pastas. Or on its own! Serve slightly chilled at around 12 degrees C.
Ingredients:
Juice (sour cherry, grape, rhubarb), water, dried spices & fruit (oak, raisins, pepper, wormwood), sugar beet syrup, extracts made from vodka (licorice root, black pepper, habanero), sea salt, preserved by potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate
