Vinča Zora
A drink born at daybreak. A red you drink like a white. A new kind of refreshment.
There’s a quiet moment when the first light breaks the horizon — gentle, glowing, full of promise. That moment has a name in Slavic myth: Zora — the dawn goddess, the guardian of beginnings.
And so we named our first Vinča after her.
Discover Vinča
-
Vinča is born from the idea to drink a red like a white. To have a summer red. An easy drinking red that you can enjoy chilled at lunch, for aperitivo or during an easy going dinner with a variety of fresh and umami dishes.
-
Vinča is a name combined from the words vin(o) and ča(j), which are the Slovenian words for wine and tea. You could spell it also vincha but it would not change it’s idea to combine the worlds of wine and tea in an unique drink. It’s now wine, but fo you really care?
-
The label doesn’t decorate the bottle — it reacts to what’s inside. Generated by AI, shaped by thinking out of the wine box. Vinča is a playful drink with wine and tea and the label follows with a surrealistic woman drinking Vinča expressing her experience through colours.
-
The label looks like a postage-stamp. It’s a nod to things once sent by hand, slowly, with care. Now Vinča moves faster — online, direct — but the intent stays the same: to get something real to someone who’ll feel it. No frills. Just closeness, bottled.
-
For lovers of wine’s soul and thoughtful enjoyment.
It unites the warmth of wine with the purity of green tea and the gently rising note of white tea.
It lightens the glass without losing depth — vineyard terroir meets the quiet strength of tea.
Taste: An easy drinking red
Pour it in the glass. See it. Light red but not a rosé. Could be a bit cloudy but not to offend.
Pure raspberry and sour cherry on the nose. Some wild forest strawberries and a hint of hibiscus. But there is more. You feel some freshness, energy that is not inherent to wine. Yes, it’s the marine and herbs aromas from the green and white tea.
Sip it. It’s easy, pleasant, extremely drinkable. It’s soft to the mouth but feel the acidity. Dry on the palate, fruity-tart like wild berries, with soft tannins and an energetic finish. Vinča demands immediately for another sip.
What is Vinča?
Vinča is something new — a drink that begins with wine, then blossoms through cold-brewed tea.
It’s not wine. It’s not tea. It’s not trying to be either.
It’s a bright, refreshing, low-alcohol hybrid born from a stainless-aged Merlot and two organic teas: a green one with marine tension and a white one with soft floral lift. The result? A red that drinks like a chilled white. A clean, dry, summer-poured glass of lightness.
Playful, quenching, subtly structured — and made for people who love wine but don’t always want its weight.
Zora - the first light
In Slavic mythology, Zora is the personification of dawn — sister to the sun and protector of the world. She opens the gates of morning, stands watch over warriors, and embodies the power of light’s return.
Our Vinča Zora carries that energy:
🌅 light but structured
🌿 fresh but deep
🌀 playful but with purpose
It's a new beginning — for us, and for this new category of tea-wine infusion.
How to enjoy it
Serve chilled, not cold.
Drink anytime — like a rosé or pét-nat.
Pair it with nothing, or everything.
It works on terraces, riversides, long lunches, or just when you’re not in the mood for a full glass of red.
A drink with balance, and respect
Vinča Zora is naturally dry.
It is unpasteurized, chemically preserved, and gently filtered.
We use no added sugars, and no unnecessary interventions.
We're also proud supporters of Wine in Moderation — a European initiative that promotes responsibility and balance in enjoying fermented drinks.
Even if we don’t call Vinča a wine, we believe its joy should be conscious, measured, and shared.
